Content Services Leader Egnyte Welcomes Steven Parsley as New Director of Engineering

Named one of the best places to work by USA Today, Egnyte is looking to partner with top talent in a hot market to accelerate growth

Raleigh, North Carolina – February 19, 2020

Egnyte, the leader in cloud content security and collaboration, today announced the hiring of Steven Parsley as the company’s new Director of Engineering. With over 20 years of experience building and leading engineering organizations, Parsley will direct efforts to build a first-class engineering team made up of talent from the Raleigh area.

Egnyte is currently hiring engineers to enhance and advance innovation in its content collaboration and governance platform and is looking for engineers who live in Raleigh or want to relocate to the area. The company is seeking candidates who have experience with SaaS, machine learning, and cutting edge technology. The company has invested heavily in personnel over the past two years and has added 224 employees in five months, bringing its headcount to more than 700.

“I am excited about joining the company, and for the opportunity to build an innovative engineering team,” said Parsley. “As part of our growth initiative, we will be tapping into the local area’s experienced tech talent pool in hopes to hire 25 engineers across all aspects of our platform.“

Last fall, Egnyte’s CEO and co-founder Vineet Jain announced that Egnyte would be rapidly increasing hiring in its Raleigh office as it looks to expand across the United States.
