Vineet Jain
Chief Executive Officer
Vineet is the CEO and co-founder of Egnyte. Prior to Egnyte, Vineet founded and successfully built Valdero, a supply chain software solution provider, funded by KPCB, MDV and Trinity Ventures. He has held a rich variety of senior operational positions at KPMG and Bechtel. He has 20 years of experience in building capital-efficient and nimble organizations. Vineet earned a BS in Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and received an MBA from Santa Clara University.

Amrit Jassal
Chief Technology Officer
As CTO of Egnyte, Amrit is responsible for the overall technical direction of the company. He has extensive experience in building large-scale, highly available systems all over the world. In the past, he has deployed such systems at Cisco, Fujistu and Sun Microsystems. Prior to Egnyte, he served as the CTO of Valdero. He received his BS in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He also holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Rajesh Ram
Chief Experience Officer
Rajesh Ram is Chief Experience Officer and Co-Founder of Egnyte. Rajesh works with Egnyte's customers and internal teams to ensure that the comprehensive voice of the customer is reflected in the company’s corporate strategy and execution. Previously, Rajesh held executive roles within Egnyte's Product Management and Engineering functions. His strength in defining, delivering and supporting software solutions was developed while at Oracle, KPMG consulting and Valdero Corporation. Rajesh holds a BS in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras and received an MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Minnesota.

Suzanne Colvin
Chief Financial Officer
Suzanne Colvin, our Chief Financial Officer, brings extensive experience in planning, accounting and operations from global, industry-leading technology companies. Suzanne is responsible for our finance, treasury, tax, accounting and administrative operations, and is committed to ensuring customer success, driving profitable growth and leading operational excellence. Before joining Egnyte, Suzanne held positions as Chief Financial Officer at Napster, Chief Accountant at Verifone and VP Finance at Exodus Communications. Suzanne began her career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Jose, is a certified public accountant and holds a B.S. in Business Administration, Accounting from California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo.

Ramin Farassat
Chief Strategy & Product Officer
Ramin is Chief Strategy & Product Officer at Egnyte. In this role, he works in close concert with the executive leadership team to execute strategic initiatives in order to increase the company’s growth and profitability, and to strengthen its competitive positioning. Prior to Egnyte, Ramin held various leadership positions including product management, product marketing and strategy development roles at Cisco, Conviva, and RGB Networks (Imagine Communications) with focus on large-scale hybrid cloud application development, analytics/machine learning, and digital media technologies. Ramin holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Data Communications from San Jose State University.

David Spitz
Chief Marketing Officer
As Chief Marketing Officer of Egnyte, David Spitz is responsible for the strategy and execution of scaled programs that improve the customer experience, enable buyers and sellers, and promote and deliver upon Egnyte's brand promise. Most recently, David served as CMO of mParticle, a leading SaaS-based solution for structured data governance, compliance, and integration. He previously led digital strategy and business development for WPP, the world's largest marketing and communications services holding company, and worked as a management consultant in Deloitte’s marketing technology group. David holds an AB degree from Princeton and received master's degrees from Columbia Business School and MIT.

Julie Giannini
Chief Customer Officer
Julie Giannini is Chief Customer Officer at Egnyte. As Chief Customer Officer, she leads all post sales functions with a focus on customer growth, acquisition and retention. Julie works closely with Egnyte’s customers and teams to ensure voice of the customer is highlighted in Egnyte’s strategy and execution. Julie joins Egnyte from cyber security leader Imperva where she was VP Customer Success. Previously Julie held senior roles at notable tech companies including New Relic, Microsoft, Yammer, TIBCO, Ariba and Oracle. Julie graduated from UCLA with a BA in Economics/Business.

Kris Lahiri
Chief Security Officer
Kris is a co-founder of Egnyte. He is responsible for creating and implementing Egnyte's global information security and compliance management strategies, policies and controls that protect all of Egnyte's customers' content and users. Prior to Egnyte, Kris spent many years in the design and deployment of large-scale infrastructures for Fortune 100 customers of Valdero and KPMG Consulting. Kris has a B.Tech in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras, and an MS from the University of Cincinnati.

Su Murthy
Vice President of Human Resources
Su Murthy is the Vice President of Human Resources at Egnyte and is responsible for global human resources management. Su brings over two decades of experience working with high growth technology startups. Previously leading HR at Actiance and Big Switch Networks, Su specializes in a winning-combination of People Analytics, Organization Network Analysis and Psychology to build an engaged workforce. Su holds a Bachelors in Accounting from Bangalore University.

Tal Broner
Vice President of Software Engineering
Tal Broner is Vice President of Software Engineering at Egnyte, overseeing product development and innovation. Tal has held a variety of leadership positions in engineering, product management and global operations for large-scale cloud and on-premise enterprise software solutions companies. Prior to Egnyte he served as Vice President of R&D in HP’s Enterprise Software division with responsibility for the IT Service Management products, generating over $500 Million in annual revenue. He was also a key leader at Mercury Interactive, Appilog, Inc and Broadband Studios, Inc., through their acquisitions. Tal graduated with honors from Ben-Gurion University in Israel with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Engineering and completed Executive Development Programs at Harvard Business School and Tel-Aviv University.

Ronen Vengosh
VP of Platform and Ecosystem
Ronen Vengosh is VP of Platform and Ecosystem at Egnyte and is responsible for the company’s technology ecosystem, strategic partners and corporate development. Ronen is a Silicon Valley veteran and has spent many years brokering deals with some of the most successful technology companies in the world. He previously held senior business development and alliances positions at PureWave Networks, Alvarion and Intellinote. Ronen holds a law degree from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. Earlier in his career Ronen practiced corporate law at Fischer, Behar, Chen & Co.

Alok Tayi
VP of Life Sciences
Alok is the Vice President of Life Sciences at Egnyte where he is responsible for building and executing the company's strategy for the life sciences market segment. Alok works across the organization to verticalize our marketing, sales, product, compliance, and account management practices for this domain. Before joining Egnyte, Alok was a YCombinator-backed entrepreneur and started two vertical software-as-a-service companies. Prior to his career in software, Alok spent over 15 years as a scientist: he took part in postdoctoral work at Harvard University with George Whitesides, and has published papers in Nature and Nature Chemistry. Alok holds a PhD from Northwestern University and BS from Cornell University.
Jeff Kalowski
Jeff is currently CFO at Rapid7. Previously, he served as CFO at Boston-based cybersecurity company Imprivata where he led the company through a public offering in 2014. Earlier in his career, Jeff was the CFO at ProfitLogic, Inc., and a variety of enterprise software and hardware technology companies, including Torrent Systems, Beyond Incorporated, and Magna Computer Corporation. Jeff began his career at Price Waterhouse, where he was an audit manager after receiving his B.S. in business administration from Northeastern University.
Dave Barrett
Dave brings years of entrepreneurial and operating success to his investment partnering, including the building and scaling of extreme–growth teams at Lotus Development/IBM, Pure Atria/Rational/IBM, and Calico (IPO). His Board success has included LogMeIn (NASDAQ: LOGM), Imprivata (NASDAQ: IMPR) MarkMonitor (Thomson Reuters), Phytel (IBM), Automattic/Wordpress and Centra Software (NASDAQ: CTRA). With an investment focus on SaaS, cloud infrastructure and data science, current partner companies in addition to Egnyte include: Confluence, InsideSales, Lob, Notarize, and Recurly. He’s been recognized as an Always–On VC 100 and VC East “Power Player” as result of investment returns success over the last five years. He also serves on the Dana–Farber Cancer Institute Board of Trustees.
Karim Faris
Karim brings over a decade of operational, entrepreneurial and investment experience to his role. He initially joined Google's corporate development team in 2008, the group responsible for all mergers and acquisitions. His primary areas of focus include Internet services and mobile and digital media. Prior to Google, Karim was a venture capitalist at Atlas Venture, where he worked on investments in software and Internet infrastructure. Previously, he was Director of New Ventures at Level 3 Communications, responsible for evaluating new business opportunities and has led product development for the company's voice services. Earlier in his career, Karim held various engineering and marketing roles at Intel, and Siemens. Karim has an MBA from the Harvard Business School, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a BS in Computer Engineering from Brown University.
Holger Staude
Holger is part of the Private Capital Investing team in Goldman Sachs’s Special Situations Group. In that capacity, Holger invests in growing private companies throughout North America in the technology sector. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 2010, Holger worked at Allen & Company. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Princeton University.
Mike Maples
Mike Maples, Jr. is the managing partner of Floodgate Fund (formerly Maples Investments), and was recently named as one of 8 Rising VC Stars by Fortune Magazine. Before becoming a full-time investor, Mike was an entrepreneur and operating executive who worked in a variety of senior management roles in high-growth companies.
Matt Murphy
Matt Murphy is a Managing Director at Menlo Ventures. His expertise is in both mobile solutions and cloud infrastructure technology. Previously, he was a Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and a board observer at Google (from initial investment to IPO), led KPCB's investment in Autonavi (NASDAQ: AMAP '10), and was a Director at Ocarina Networks (acquired by Dell '10), Peakstream (acquired by Google '08), and Dash Navigation (acquired by RIM '09). roles in high-growth companies.
Tom Schodorf
Tom started his 35-year sales career at IBM, going on to spend seventeen years at BMC Software where he finished his tenure as the VP/GM of their Identify Business Unit. Most recently Tom spent five years as the SVP of Sales and Field Operations at Splunk, before taking on his role as an independent board director for several public and private software companies. Tom holds an MBA from the University of Dayton as well as a Bachelor’s in Finance from The Ohio State University.
